Traveling June Bug

This project is a digital archive, analysis, and interactive website experience built from data collected from one woman’s records of 30 years of world travel. My grandmother, June Bradley, traveled to all seven continents during the second half of her life. She documented her experiences in 11 travel diaries, 4,000+ photos, and 22 cassette tapes, which were stored in a suitcase along with other collected items. is an interactive website that digitizes and preserves these items, and acts as a way to share her adventures with those who loved her.
